How it works
In a pneumatic lever, when you press the piston, the air in the syringe is compressed. This increases the air pressure in the syringe. Air pressure on the piston in this syringe pushes the piston outward. Pulling out the piston lowers the air pressure. The air pressure outside the second syringe then pushes its piston back.
Pneumatics is the use of compressed air or other gases to operate machines. Most pneumatic machines require a powerful air pump to increase the air pressure so that the air can push the pistons in and out of the cylinders to move the machine parts.
